Choosing a mission type may not look like hard work, but it's essential to create missions that can accommodate users in achieving their personal development goals while maintaining their productivity. Let's take a look at the mission types below to find the best mission types for your users.
1. Quiz
In a Quiz mission, users need to answer a set of multiple-choice questions. After completing the mission, they will receive a score calculated based on their correct and incorrect answers. They can review their answers to see which questions they answer correctly and incorrectly.
Note: If you want to create a Quiz mission, don't forget to create a question bank first.
2. To Do List
To Do List is a mission type that can be completed by checking the boxes next to the mission objectives.
3. Assignment
There are several assignment types you can choose from as your mission: Essay, Number, Photo, Link and Attachment.
A. Essay
An Essay is a mission that tasks users to answer the question by writing a sentence, paragraph, or short text. This assignment type is useful if you want to ask them to describe something, such as challenges they face when working or studying, or to get feedback from them.
B. Number
In a Number mission, users need to enter a number as required by the question to complete it. This mission comes in handy if you want to track users' activity when working or studying, especially if it's a repeated activity. For example, you can use this mission to see how many reports written by your users every day.
C. Photo
As the name suggests, the objective of the Photo mission is uploading a photo. Users can do so by taking a photo using their phone camera or select it from their device's image library. You can view the uploaded photos on the admin panel.
D. Link Attachment
This mission requires users to attach a link to complete it. This mission is especially useful if you want to task your users to submit their work in a form of a document file (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). They can upload the file and then share its link in this mission. You can find the attached links on the admin panel.
4. Custom Form
This mission requires users to answer several questions with different tasks. It's particularly helpful if you want to survey your users or make them do comprehensive work. There are seven question types you can choose from:
- Essay = Writing a sentence, paragraph, or short text.
- Number = Entering a number.
- Photo = Uploading a photo that users take using their camera phone or that they select from their phone's gallery.
- Link Attachment = Entering a link to the designated box.
- Dropdown = Selecting one of the available options from the dropdown box.
- Date = Entering a date.
- Time = Entering a time (minute and hour).
